A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Planning and Delivery Leader to join our team in Nagoya, Japan. We are now hiring for the role of Planning and Delivery Leader , based in Nagoya, Japan , to support our Civil Aerospace business .

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the successful launch and manufacture of all parts from suppliers, aligning with the agreed production plan throughout the component lifecycle.
  • Maintain and manage planning systems on a daily basis, including inbound delivery schedules, Stock in Transit, Goods Receipt in Process (GRIP), and Non-Conformance Report (NCR) stock management.
  • Identify, prioritize, and support resolution of delivery issues where performance deviates from the plan.
  • Provide clear visibility of delivery issues, risks, mitigation plans, and recovery strategies to the Supply Management Team Meeting (SMTM).
  • Conduct regular supplier reviews, including Order Book Reviews, to track and escalate delivery performance and issues when necessary.
  • Ensure early identification of material shortages or surpluses and take proactive actions to resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Ensure suppliers realign their planning data on a 4-weekly cycle to match customer requirements and system accuracy, supporting full compliance with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and ZEIAW (Excess Inventory Authorisation) policies.
  • Assist buyers in resolving invoice issues due to schedule discrepancies or receipt mismatches and support commercial claims with suppliers based on delivery failures.
  • Collaborate with factory logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
  • Provide critical input and updates to delivery review sessions, including revised supply plans and commitments as per team discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Mechanical Engineering , or related disciplines preferred.
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in planning, order management, or supplier management, ideally within an industrial or mechanical engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using SAP is a mandatory requirement .
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English ; proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
  • Agile, results-driven, and capable of acting with speed and accountability in a fast-paced supply chain environment.
